Common Bride…current status unfinished! Those who know me know this rarely happens. I started this quilt directly following Capistrano. Another difficult quilt whose colours were not in my comfort zone. Common Bride by Laundry Basket Quilts. Quilt size is 86″ x 86″.
“Smokey River” by Whirligig Designs was made as a surprise for my mother on her “special birthday”. I had fun with this one and used a lot of blue fabric and also my go to greens and golds. Completed size is 97″ x 97″.
I have nicknamed this pattern “Christmas Stars”. This beautiful quilt top was purchased at an estate sale of an avid quilter. My motto is every quilt top should be quilted and deserves a good home. I have recently long arm quilted this top using gold King Tut thread. For sale $700
Another nicknamed quilt called “Scrappy Squares” Unsure of the pattern name. This quilt top was also purchased at an estate sale. Every quilt top should be quilted and enjoyed. I can tell that a lot of time was put into this quilt selecting just the right fabrics from a huge fabric stash. One day I really need to dig into…
Nicknamed the “Hunting Dog Quilt”, as no pattern information is available. This quilt is made up of four-patch quilt units and square in a square units. I can’t take credit for this cozy flannel quilt top, as it too was purchased from an avid quilter. Great for a cottage or a hunt camp. For sale: $500
